Asian American students and staff make up one of InterVarsity’s fastest growing ministries on campus.
When staff workers Andrea and Jason Huang returned to Ohio State University to participate in the Price of Life Invitational in mid-April they were excited to see the way that students were responding to a clear and compelling presentation of the gospel message.

"At Urbana 06 the call to most people was to go overseas and do missions," said Andrea Huang. "But we felt like God was calling us to stay in the Midwest and work with Asian Americans."

But Jeremy is just as committed to leading his weekly Bible study with the Harvard Radcliffe Asian American Christian Fellowship (HRAACF) as he is to leading his basketball teammates to victory.

James Choung has been selected as InterVarsity’s national Asian American Ministries director. The announcement was made by Paula Fuller, vice president and director of Multiethnic Ministries. He replaces Jennifer Ikoma-Motzko, who has served as interim Asian American Ministries coordinator for the past year. James started his new position on July 13, 2009.
James has served on staff with InterVarsity for the last 14 years and most recently was the divisional director for the San Diego Division in Southern California.
