Scene description:
In this scene, Mike (who, six months ago, was dumped by his girlfriend after a six-year relationship), has just met a girl named Nikki at a bar and gotten her phone number. His friends have advised him to wait two days before calling. He has just gotten home. It is 2:32 AM. Ignoring his friends' advice, he calls her then and there with disastrous results. This is a great picture of the vulnerability and insecurity relationships entail.
